2026 October Tattersalls Yearling Sales

Yearling Sales at Tattersalls kick off this week in Newmarket starting with Book 1. Although we are not represented at Book 1 and have to wait for Book 2 next week I think we have 2 outstanding horses for the Book 2 sale and are Book 1 physicals.

Our First offering is lot 535 a Stunning Sea The Stars colt out of AppleTrees Heavenly Breath, he is a good solid Athletic colt, and a fantastic first produce of the mare which exciting. The Sea The Stars colt moves very well covering the ground and is sure to be a race horse.

Next up is Lot 558 Pinatubo x Inchicore colt, again he is a first foal from the Galileo mare. He has done nothing but improve through sales prep, is very solid and has inherited his mothers smooth movement.

We then move on to Book 3 on Thursday the 15th of October with AppleTrees final offering lot 1452 Mostahdaf x Sleepless colt, he is the 4th produce of the mare Sleepless who is the dam of a winner. We have also retained her Stradivarius filly named Miss Luthier, she is in training with Roger Varian and  unraced to date but is pleasing in her home work showing ability. The Mostahdaf colt again is a fine individual. He moves very well and I can’t fault him. I’m actually disappointed and surprised he wasn’t allocated Book 2.

The Book 2 horses will be available to view from 8am on Friday the 9th of October. Book 3 offering will be available to view from 8 am on Tuesday 13th of October.

We very much look forward to taking viewings next week and I’m excited at finding out how are yearlings are received.
