Ascot Win For King Al 29/03/26

King Al produced a fine solid performance at Ascot today winning the Sodexo Live! Juvenile Handicap Hurdle by a neck from Mojito Des Mottes. He made virtually all but for being headed between the last 2 and battling back from the last to record his second win over hurdles. King Al was given a great ride by the in form Tom Bellamy and its seems that Kingy was right about the horse wanting decent ground. King Al had won on heavy on the flat and recorded a soft ground win at Ludlow before today however Alan has always maintained the horse wants good ground. King Al will now have a couple of outings on the flat before a well earned summer break.
