AppleTree team had a successful trip to Tattersalls Guineas sale in Newmarket selling our Hawkbill x L’ile Aux Loups colt for 42,000gns in partnership with Malcolm Bastard. We bought the colt as a foal for 3,000gns which shows a nice return. Billy was bought to keep our Sea The Stars foal at the time company as we only had one colt on the farm. Jonny and I went to the sales looking for a foal that would do a job for us with a limited budget and Billy was the result. We would like to thank Malcolm for producing the colt in fine fettle showing a very professional breeze and in great order. AppleTree would also like to wish the purchases Marco Bozzi Bloodstock the best of luck with him in the future, we will watch with interest. We also added a new recruit Time Test  / Poly Pomona colt to go into training with Alan King. he is a fine individual with size and scope, the horse did a nice breeze moving great and looks to be an exciting recruit for Alan.

Absolute Blast delivered a stunning Oasis Dream filly at 11.30pm tonight. The good looking filly is good and strong, she was quick to stand. Blast has a 3yo filly in training with Archie Watson and a sure fire winner, she also has a very good looking Dark Angel yearling filly who we have high hopes for here at AppleTree

Astonishing delivered a cracking Too Darn Hot filly foal at 11.30pm 27/03/22. the filly is full sister to AppleTrees Too Darn hot filly 21 we sold at last Decembers foal sale for 270,000gns bought by Darley. she is half sister to stakes performers Surprise Exhibit and Gold Maze, Astonishing also has a Dark Angel 2yo in training with Archie Watsons retained by AppleTree.  

Fearns Pippin gave AppleTree a Fine big Invincible Spirit colt foal this morning, he is a foal share with Lordship Stud and he looks an exciting prospect. The colt foal is the 3rd foal from Fearns Pippin, she has a Showcasing 2yo filly in training with Amanda Perret and a Churchill Yearling here at AppleTree. We look forward to seeing the big colt grow.

Her Terms (Pivotal x Best Terms) delivered a pretty chestnut filly foal at 1am on 22/02/22. the new filly is Her Terms 3rd foal having already given AppleTree Dark Terms (Filly) a winner over 6f and at 2 and a promising 2yo colt by Sea The Stars who is in training with William Haggas. From the family of Champion Best Terms the future looks exciting.

Lola Paige (Galileo x Timbuktu) delivered a beautiful colt foal at the very civilized hour of 10.30am 27/02/22, although Jonny Sutton AppleTree's stud groom probably won't agree after being sat up all night watching her. The colt is Lola's first foal and set her on her way as a broodmare, We have high hopes for Lola being by Galileo, she is proving to be the perfect mum

I am please to inform you that AppleTree welcomed our first new arrival of the 2022 breeding season when our maiden mare Sleepless delivered a fine filly foal by Dandy Man at 10.30pm on Monday night. She weighed in at 47kg's which is big enough and we look forward to seeing her grow and develop over the coming months. The filly sets Sleepless on her way as a broodmare.
