Funny Man wins the C A Design Services 35th Anniversary Handicap at Yarmouth. After initially being outpaced when the pace quickened, the step up in distance and reapplication of blinkers did the trick as Funny Man needed every yard of the 1m6f to beat Victoriano of Archie Watson’s under a strong ride from Liam Jones. Seemingly still learning on the job, you would hope there would be more to come from this gelding and a step up further in distance looks sure to suit.

Funny Man also makes it two winners from two runners for his dam Midnight Thoughts currently in foal to Kingman. His half brother Three Weeks remains in training with David O’meara rated 92 and his two year old half sister by Oasis Dream is in training with William Haggas.
