Gallaside wins the Wingate Signs Supporting #SuperJosh Charity Novice Median Auction Stakes at Newcastle. He broke well to track the longtime leader The Lazy Monkey and having being carried left by the eventual third he soon asserted in the final furlong to win by a comfortable 2 3/4 lengths. Well supported he went off the 5/4f and the support was justified as he relished the step up to 7f and hopefully this can be the start to better targets later this season.

He is also a first winner for his sire Lucayan from a very limited amount of opportunities. From what we know about Lucayan he got better with time and distance and it will be interesting to see whether Gallaside can follow suit.
