Blaast Offered As Lot 45 at Tattersalls July Sales 06/07/22
3yo filly Blaast (Showcasing x Absolute Blast) will be offered for sale on Wednesday the 5th of Tattersalls July sale. She is a smart breeding prospect with a stakes winning pedigree. Winner of 1 race at 3years and placed 5 times at 2, with a top rating of 78. Blaast also has plenty of racing to come too as when winning at Brighton on the 27th of May 22 the Racing Post analysis read "BLAAST was well treated on the pick of her juvenile form. She showed the benefit from her Chepstow return from a break last month to become the second successive horse on the day to make all. She had a bit up her sleeve at the line." Blaast is lot 45 and can be viewed at Park Paddocks from monday the 4th of July in the Further Paddock box 49.
Royal Charter Makes A Winning Debut 24/06/22
Royal Charter (Expert Eye x Queens Charter) made the perfect start at Newmarket this evening by winning the British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes by a head from Love Affairs who ironically is owned by Her Majesty The Queen. Our filly was a first 2yo winner of the season for AppleTree and for William Haggas. Royal Charter was given a lovely introduction by Steve Donohoe, being a little slow away she then ran keen before being green mid race. Approaching the final 1 1/2 furlongs the penny drop she ran out possible value for more than the head she won by. Steve was very sympathetic under a strong hands and heals drive before waving the stick at her from a 1/2 a furlong out to get the job done. The filly was not touch and we hope there is lots more to come from her. Royal Charter came out of the race very well and we will be guide by William as to where we go next.
INVINCIBLY RINGS THE BELL AT CARLISLE 22/06/22
Invincibly won a nice prize at Carlisle when winning the Stablemate By Agma Carlisle Bell Handicap over a 1m. He was close to the pace all the way taking a lead from the eventual 2nd Tommy G who made most of the running. This was a career high for Invincibly and a great boost, Invincibly will be offered at the Tattersalls July sale and is lot 319. He is a fine looking horse who will suit many markets, I strongly advise viewing him at park paddocks from the 4th of July in the further paddock box 430
Blaast Makes It 3 Winners In 10 Days For AppleTree 27/05/22
BLAAST (Showcasing x Absolute Blast) made it 3 winners in 10 days for AppleTree by taking the Free Tips Daily On attheraces.com Handicap over 6f at Brighton in style. The filly broke well under Hollie Doyle grabbing the rail from the 2 stall to never look in doubt and possibly won with a little in hand. Blaast is another home bred winner for AppleTree and a first winner for her dam Absolute Blast being her first foal. Absolute Blast has a Dark Angel yearling filly, an Oasis Dream filly foal at foot and is in foal to Pinatubo. Blaast's win also makes the farm stats 10 winners from 11 home bred runners with almost 30% black type performers. Blaast will be offered for sale at Tattersalls July sale as we have the fillies coming through behind. We wanted to make sure she was a winner for the mare before selling but have left plenty for potential purchasers to have fun with and an active page makes her a broodmare prospect also.
Inchicore Scores At Goodwood 21/05/22
Inchicore (Galileo x Luas Line) won well at Goodwood this afternoon in the competitive Brenda Reid Memorial Handicap class 2 over 1m6f. Andrea Atzeni tooked the mare in early to settle, the pair had to sit and suffer for a time till they reached the cut away in the straight, getting a perfect run up the inside to seize the lead about 1f out and always looking in control from that point. Inchicore will continue in training this season having a crack at the big handicaps before hunting for black type in the Autumn. she is already Listed placed and looks sure to gain more wins this season. All being well we look forward to welcoming Inchicore back to AppleTree for the 2023 breeding season, she is an exciting prospect.
