INVINCIBLY RINGS THE BELL AT CARLISLE 22/06/22

Invincibly won a nice prize at Carlisle when winning the Stablemate By Agma Carlisle Bell Handicap over a 1m. He was close to the pace all the way taking a lead from the eventual 2nd Tommy G who made most of the running. This was a career high for Invincibly and a great boost, Invincibly will be offered at the Tattersalls July sale and is lot 319. He is a fine looking horse who will suit many markets, I strongly advise viewing him at park paddocks from the 4th of July in the further paddock box 430

Blaast Makes It 3 Winners In 10 Days For AppleTree 27/05/22

BLAAST (Showcasing x Absolute Blast) made it 3 winners in 10 days for AppleTree by taking the Free Tips Daily On attheraces.com Handicap over 6f at Brighton in style. The filly broke well under Hollie Doyle grabbing the rail from the 2 stall to never look in doubt and possibly won with a little in hand. Blaast is another home bred winner for AppleTree and a first winner for her dam Absolute Blast being her first foal. Absolute Blast has a Dark Angel yearling filly, an Oasis Dream filly foal at foot and is in foal to Pinatubo. Blaast's win also makes the farm stats 10 winners from 11 home bred runners with almost 30% black type performers. Blaast will be offered for sale at Tattersalls July sale as we have the fillies coming through behind. We wanted to make sure she was a winner for the mare before selling but have left plenty for potential purchasers to have fun with and an active page makes her a broodmare prospect also.

Inchicore Scores At Goodwood 21/05/22

Inchicore (Galileo x Luas Line) won well at Goodwood this afternoon in the competitive Brenda Reid Memorial Handicap class 2 over 1m6f. Andrea Atzeni tooked the mare in early to settle, the pair had to sit and suffer for a time till they reached the cut away in the straight, getting a perfect run up the inside to seize the lead about 1f out and always looking in control from that point. Inchicore will continue in training this season having a crack at the big handicaps before hunting for black type in the  Autumn. she is already Listed placed and looks sure to gain more wins this season. All being well we look forward to welcoming Inchicore back to AppleTree for the 2023 breeding season, she is an exciting prospect.

Lunar Makes Perfect Start Over Hurdles 18/05/22

LUNAR SHADOW (Sea The Moon x The Pirates Queen) made the perfect start to her Hurdling career at Southwell when winning the Visit signsolutions.org For Event Signage Mares' Maiden Hurdle beating Ultimate Flame by 6 1/2 lengths. The race wasn't the strongest of contest but Lunar could only win in the manner she did. Travelling strongly in a muddling race, she jumped well and pulled clear from 2 out. we hope the filly can progress and we will keep her on the go. hopefully she can build on her success.

Midnight Thoughts delivered a very nice colt foal this evening by exciting first season sire Pinatubo. Our Pinatubo colt is Half brother to listed placed Tomorrow's Dream and half to AppleTree bred Kingman filly sold for 300,000gns sold to John Gosden at last years Tattersalls book 2 sale.

Another Successful Trip To Park Paddocks Selling our Hawkbill Colt For 42,000gns And Adding A New Recruit 28/04/22

AppleTree team had a successful trip to Tattersalls Guineas sale in Newmarket selling our Hawkbill x L’ile Aux Loups colt for 42,000gns in partnership with Malcolm Bastard. We bought the colt as a foal for 3,000gns which shows a nice return. Billy was bought to keep our Sea The Stars foal at the time company as we only had one colt on the farm. Jonny and I went to the sales looking for a foal that would do a job for us with a limited budget and Billy was the result. We would like to thank Malcolm for producing the colt in fine fettle showing a very professional breeze and in great order. AppleTree would also like to wish the purchases Marco Bozzi Bloodstock the best of luck with him in the future, we will watch with interest. We also added a new recruit Time Test  / Poly Pomona colt to go into training with Alan King. he is a fine individual with size and scope, the horse did a nice breeze moving great and looks to be an exciting recruit for Alan.
