Funny Man Remains In Good Form Finishing Second At Hamilton

Funny Man put up another solid display at Hamilton on Sunday when finishing second in the Racing TV HD On Sky 426 Handicap. He found only the lightly raced Mick Easterby runner Art of Diplomacy too good who was in receipt of 15lb from Funny Man. He has had a busy summer thus far and we may give him just one more run before a well deserved rest. You cannot knock how consistent he has been and we are confident he can progress from what he has done this year and make into an even better four year old for next year.

New Purchase For AppleTree Stud At Keeneland (Lemon Drop Kid x Famous)

New purchase for Appletree Stud at Keeneland when the hammer went down at $200.000 to Federico Barberini for lot 1999. A filly by Lemon Drop Kid out of Famous, she is a half sister to Aidan O'Brien's promising stayer Il Paradiso who was last seen finishing 5th in the St Leger behind Logician at Doncaster. She is a promising acquisition to the stud and hopefully she is a bright prospect.

Lola Paige Finishes Second At Lingfield On Saturday Afternoon

Lola Paige finished 2nd on Saturday Afternoon in the Compare Bookmaker Sites At bonuscodebets.co.uk EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes at Lingfield. Ridden by Georgia Cox she was well in touch throughout the race before losing her place slightly at half way. Once questions were asked she responded well for pressure before ultimately finding the Harry Dunlop trained Golden Lips too strong in the final furlong. It was Lola Paige's first run for 71 days and chances are she may of just needed it, but it was an encouraging run and there should be more to come from this well bred Galileo filly.

Lola Paige Bids To Make It Third Time Lucky At Lingfield On Saturday Afternoon

Lola Paige goes to Lingfield on Saturday afternoon for the Compare Bookmaker Sites At bonuscodebets.co.uk EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes. It was clear that Lola Paige did not run her race last time at Haydock 71 days ago when finishing a disappointing 5th as 6/4f. Although the form of that race has since worked out very well with the winner West End Girl subsequently scoring in the group 3 Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket. That form stands out, and our filly would not need to improve much from that run to be very competitive in the context of this race. William is confident there is plenty more to come from this filly and hopefully she is ready to put that disappointing run behind her. Georgia Cox takes the ride claiming 3lb, and it would be disappointing if Lola Paige could not make it third time lucky here.
